I, and a number of senior US watch and clockmakers are preparing to start a new U.S. school of horology, probably in Central Pennsylvania. We will offer the best accredited instructon in the US, favorable tuitions, and real college credits. We will not follow the Swiss program because we service vintage horological items requiring services for which Swiss programs offer absolutely no training . We also plan to resume the US manufacture of mechanical clocks and watches as part of the "green manufacturing" trend beginning in this country. Please contact me for further information.

We are seeking both faculty and students. Faculty must possess teaching certificates and advanced college degrees are preferred, provided candidates can pass rigorous bench tests---we are not looking for hobbyists or self-proclaimed "experts." Advanced computer skills a real plus!
